The first remedy for leptin resistance is a common-sense approach. Not eating the high-carbohydrate, empty calorie food we love is the first step. The body must be cleansed of these types of food in order for the process of rebalancing our leptin to begin.
One of the best approaches is to eat a high-quality protein, low carbohydrate diet, one that is rich in chicken, fish, lamb, beef and low-starch vegetables such as celery, carrots, green beans, broccoli, scallions, kale and spinach, and of course, drinking plenty of water.
